These terms apply whenever you use Wild Animals Central. By browsing the site, using a tool, or claiming a business listing, you accept them.

What this site is, and what it is not

Wild Animals Central publishes general information about wildlife identification, exclusion, prevention and removal, plus a directory of licensed operators taken from state agency records. It is not a pest control company, it does not perform any work, and nothing on the site is a quotation.

The information is general guidance written for homeowners across several states. It is not professional advice for your specific property, and it is not a substitute for a licensed operator on site or for your state agency’s own rules. Wildlife laws, seasons, permit requirements and protected species differ by state, county and even by species: always check the current rule with your state wildlife agency before acting, and call a licensed professional when a job involves a protected species, a roof, a chimney, electrical equipment, or an animal that may be rabid.

No emergency service

We do not operate an emergency line and we do not dispatch anybody. If an animal is inside your home, if someone has been bitten or scratched, or if there is a fire, gas or electrical hazard, contact animal control, a licensed operator or emergency services directly. Responses to messages sent through this site are not monitored around the clock.

Directory listings

Listings are compiled from published state agency license or authorization lists, with the source and the date we checked it shown on each listing. A listing means the agency published that business: it is not an endorsement, a guarantee of quality, insurance or a fixed price, and we do not mediate disputes between homeowners and businesses. License status changes: confirm it with the agency before hiring. Operators who claim a listing confirm that they are authorized to represent that business.

Accounts and fair use

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit, for keeping access to your email address secure, and for anything done through your account. Do not:

• claim a business you do not represent, or submit false verification details;
• copy or republish substantial parts of the site, or use it to train or build a competing dataset;
• scrape the directory, or republish the operator data outside the license below;
• probe, overload or attempt to bypass the security of the site or its accounts;
• use the site for anything unlawful, or post content that is defamatory or infringing.

We may suspend an account, correct a listing or remove content that breaks these terms.

Intellectual property

Our guides, articles, photographs we license, illustrations and page design belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright. You may quote a short excerpt with a link and attribution. Systematic copying, republishing or resale is not allowed. Photos credited to a government agency, an individual photographer or a stock library remain theirs and are used under the license shown. See the Copyright & DMCA page to report an infringement.

Affiliate links and advertising

Some links earn a commission and some pages carry advertising. That never buys a recommendation: see the Affiliate Disclosure.

Paid operator plans

Claimed listings and paid plans are governed by the Operator Terms, and refunds by the Refund Policy. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site online and accurate, but we publish it as it is and we may change, move or remove any page, tool or listing at any time. We have no obligation to keep a particular URL alive, though we redirect retired pages where we can.

Limits of our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for anything you do or fail to do after reading the site, including work carried out by a business listed in the directory, or damage caused by a method described in a guide. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Italian law, and the courts of Italy have jurisdiction, without affecting consumer rights you have where you live. We would rather solve a problem directly first: write to the contact form.

Changes

When these terms change we update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
