Operator Terms

Claiming a listing is free. Paid plans only change how your business is presented, never whether it appears: the directory lists every business in the state records either way.

Who these terms are between

These terms govern the relationship between Alessio Deidda Digital (VAT number IT04110950922, Italy), the publisher of Wild Animals Central, and the business that claims or pays for a listing. They sit alongside the general Terms of Use.

Claiming a listing

Claiming is free. To claim, you confirm you are authorized to represent the business, and we check the claim against the published state agency record and, where we need to, against the business itself. Claims are reviewed by a person, normally within a couple of business days.

While a claim is unverified you can see your dashboard but you cannot edit the public listing or buy a plan. We may decline a claim, or unclaim a listing, if we cannot confirm the connection to the business, if the license is no longer valid, or if the listing is being used in a way that misleads homeowners.

Plans and what they include

Featured placement is always labelled on the card and on the profile. It does not change the verification standard, it does not make a listing look verified when it is not, and it never removes other businesses from the page. We do not sell exclusivity in a city.

Billing

Payments are handled by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled, and the price is charged to the payment method you entered at checkout. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that apply to you. We may change prices with 30 days’ notice; if you do not accept the change you can cancel before it takes effect. Invoices and receipts come from Stripe.

Cancelling

You can cancel from your dashboard or by writing to the contact form. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access and featured placement run to the end of the period you already paid for. See the Refund Policy for what is refundable.

What we expect from you

• Keep your license, insurance and contact details accurate, and tell us when a license lapses or a phone number changes.
• Publish no claim you cannot support: no invented certifications, no “licensed and insured” if you are not, no guaranteed results.
• Use no more than one listing per business unless the state records genuinely show separate licenses.
• Keep your content on topic and lawful, and respond to homeowner inquiries in good faith.

We may edit, suspend or remove a listing, and end paid placement, if any of this is broken. If we end a paid plan for that reason, the unused part of the current period is not refunded.

What we do not promise

We do not promise a number of page views, clicks, calls or jobs. Traffic varies by season, city and species. Featured placement improves how visible your listing is inside a city page; it does not guarantee inquiries, and it is not an endorsement of your work.

Homeowner inquiries

Inquiries sent through the site come to you directly by email. We do not screen, forward or guarantee them, we do not act as your agent, and we are not a party to any contract you agree with a homeowner.

Liability and law

To the extent the law allows, our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. These terms are governed by Italian law, and the courts of Italy have jurisdiction, without affecting rights you have as a business or consumer where you are established.

Changes

When these terms change we update the date at the top of the page and, if the change is material and you have a paid plan, we tell you by email before it takes effect.
